Why seek re-election

I am seeking re-election because I believe deeply in the future of Pine Bluff School District and the potential of every student we serve. My experience on the Board has shown me how important steady, student-focused leadership is, especially during times of growth and challenge. I want to continue being a voice for students, families, and educators while helping our district strengthen its programs, improve transparency, and maintain responsible decision-making. My goal is to ensure every child is prepared for life after high school, whether they pursue college, career, or military service.

The SLOGAN

“Putting Students at the Heart of Every Decision” reflects my belief that students are the foundation of our district. This slogan represents my commitment to ensuring that every decision we make leads to stronger schools and brighter futures.

WHY THAT SLOGAN?

I believe that strong schools are built when we intentionally serve our students, support our parents, and strengthen our district as a whole. Our students are the heart of Pine Bluff School District without them, there is no district and every decision we make must reflect that truth. My commitment is to help ensure that every student is equipped with the tools, guidance, and opportunities needed to succeed beyond graduation, whether that future leads to college, career, or service.

I also understand that the success of our schools depends on unity, accountability, and shared responsibility between families, educators, and the community. While my focus is on education, I believe that when the district is healthy, transparent, and well-supported, our students can truly thrive. That is why I remain committed to making thoughtful, student-centered decisions that serve not just our schools—but the families and community who depend on them every day.
